I've been dipping my toes into punting for the last few years, however I've always been pretty bad on choosing girls and while not had any horror stories, turned up to plenty of meets which either the girls or likes were not as advertised (or surprise extras).
Basically I'm asking which sites provide good reviews for escorts outside of AW's own system. Tbh it's annoying when some girls don't have feedback (which isn't at all surprising which despite having meets arranged by bookings I'm yet to have a booking accepted!) or when very basic or suspect feedback is left.
I did sign up to UKPunting, but having read on here and other sites it's not great. I mostly stuck to the review section or local area which I felt were fine, however General Discussion was especially brutal and still is. I was thinking Punternet, but the amount of recent reviews was extremely low and the formatting isn't great.
TLDR version: I'm looking for a better forum than UKP with a decent amount of reviews and traffic.
It's difficult really as all the punter forums I know of are full of complete misogynistic dickwads - there is something about getting a load of men together who pay for sex that just makes them want to beat their chests and prove how 'manly' they are by belittling those very same women they love to pay for, to each other. Personally if I were a punter I would stay well away. Perhaps there are other punters here who can chime in with decent forums, but i'd say stick around here and post instead. At least a lot of actual AW escorts use it
Can't really help with other forums - never really gone looking for any tbh.
I've been on AW for around 7 months, in that time I've seen 7 different escorts and every single one has been nice, friendly, acommodating and generous. Every one I would see again - and in most cases already have done.
Lucky? Quite possibly, though I think being "older" and having a reasonable judge of character, and a very sensitive BS-O-Meter, have steered me away from those who on the surface look fine but maybe are not when you get down to it.
Also the ladies I look for (as my name implies) are not your average young slim all-came-out-of -the-same-mould girls who seem to populate not only AW but many other sites as well (sorry ladies, if you fall into that category - nothing personal
).
Basically use your common sense. If it looks too good to be true it probably is. Take feedback with a pinch of salt and look for f/back from some of the punters whose names crop up (in feedback) fairly regularly, especially if you have more "specialised" requirements. You'll learn to recognise fake f/back quite quickly, and when you do, move on.

I think your best talking to a gent on here named Nova. He's been seeing escorts for quite some time and so he can give you some good tips.
The best tips I can give you are:
When reading reviews, take them with a pinch of salt. Some are outright fake, some are half true and some are completely true.
Try to look for reviewers that are both into the same type of ladies as you but are also quite accurate.
Try to befriend reviewers like the above so you can have a good trusted source of information in a type of private group discussion.
Take notice of AW reviews but try to keep a look out for the fake ones. There's alot around but you will learn to spot the fake ones in time.
Look for girls that are a part of forums like this one. From their posts on here you can get a small insight into what kind of people they are.
When seeing a girl with no feedback on AW, you are taking a risk. BUT, some escorts don't take bookings via the adultwork booking system. When I used to escort, I would only take booking via the phone and I had my number on my profile. This meant I didn't have any feedback for years. I know that a lady on here named wife4rent does the same thing and she has alot of returning customers.
If you like the polish/bulgariun etc ladies then you may be in a mine field, however I have heard alot of guys talking about finding "little gems" amongst them. The biggest problems amongst these ladies is the "bait and switch" scam. You turn up to a completely different lady that you booked. If you do find yourself in this situation, then please walk away. If guys keep on falling for this scam and still seeing the lady that they are presented with, then they will continue to be a problem. They also give escorts as a whole, a bad name.
This is something that you will find the best advice from other guys, but I thought I'd give my pennies worth anyway.

Punter forums are ok, just don't get too involved in them. you can learn things, get advice and make your own mind up on how to deal with things.
Technology has become the punters curse, I am not saying they did not have problems 20+ years ago but punting was a different sport then. Local girls used to work locally and rely on regular clients, unless you were in London or a big city, there were far less scams around.
If your a newbie, then you have to be very careful of foreign girls, the language is the biggest problem and the constant new profiles that keep popping up. That is not to say don't, just make sure you understand the risk v reward factor. if the girl you want to have fun with does not understand you then getting what you want can be awkward.
Punters have different needs, if your the type that likes a 15 minute quickie, then you will probably not have too many problems, if you want an hour, to include getting to know the girl, relaxing and having some fun then a girl that does not understand you or speak English is probably not for you, some of the foreign girls do speak very good English.
Best advice is to not worry too much about things and make sure you speak to the girl on the phone, if you can't and it is all done by text, then it may not be her making the arrangements, so be careful.
As said above, I do not have much in the way of feedback as I make sure I always speak to guys on the phone and only take phone bookings.

@Hornyguy, Pixie has hit the nail on the head about the best way to take advantage of the knowledge pool on forums, I'm lucky enough to be able to call two extremely experienced punters/forum members virtual friends, one punts 2-3 times a week that's far more than me and because we have similar tastes I often ask his advice and he's given me many great tips, and as my own experience and confidence has grown I'm now able to return the favour occasionally. Forums can have thousands of members but I think you naturally gravitate towards those who have similar tastes and expectations to your own, reviews are only of any real value if you have confidence in the reviewer, so it really doesn't matter which forum your using it's about identifying the members you trust, a good way to start is to look for reviews about a wg you've already seen and if you find another member viewed the experience in a similar way to you then take a look at his other reviews. When you join a forum don't post straight away but take a few days to read the reviews and threads that interest you and get a feel for those who've posted. You will have to post eventually to take full advantage because most members will probably not respond to your questions if your simply lurking.
UKP and Punternet are the biggest and best known but as I'm sure you know Punternet refused reviews about AW SPs for a long time and that has cost it dear in terms of membership, there are a growing number of small local forums, sorry I don't know if there are any in your area, there are also the private fee paying forums and I belong to two, I'm not going to recommend them as you have to pay to join them and it takes a long time before you become accepted by other members and invited to join the forums within forums that exist there.
As for AW itself well I'll give you the Nova70 feedback theory that I'm sure everyone else on here is sick of hearing, I look at who else has given feedback for women I've enjoyed seeing and then take a look at who else they've seen, now if I see that 2,3 or 4 of those guys have also visited another wg who I like the look of then that's a very good indicator, I then google for reviews and if that also looks positive then I'm really interested.
I know how lucky I am to punt in London as I'm only a Tube ride away from wg central, Earls Court, Paddington, Notting Hill and Kensington etc, do you punt mainly in Stoke or do you travel to say Birmingham or Manchester, what is the scene in Stoke like ?.

"Mysogynistic dickwad" That's me is it, I may have criticised a certain forum myself once or twice lol but that's because somewhere along the line the pro-punter ethos got twisted to being anti-wg, many punters me included often find some of the things said on SAAFE equally offensive. TBH Katie your Granny could read most of the reviews even on UKP and she wouldn't blush and they have their fair share of gushing fluffies as well. Perhaps you just find the idea of reviews distasteful and I can understand that but do remember I'm paying £120 - £150 an hour and I want to be as sure as I can that I'm going to get VFM and reviews are a useful resource. Of course reviews should never be written in spite or used as a way to humiliate or insult a wg no matter how dreadful the service may have been but it's important to remember that we're describing our experience of someone providing a service and the fact that it's a woman should not be used as a defence against justified criticism.

Good advice, for some the forum seems to have become more important than the punting and writing reviews has become an ego-trip or attention seeking exercise, never trust a reviewer who never seems to have a crap punt because that's not possible but equally don't pay too much attention to someone who appears to have one disaster after another because if that were happening to me I'd have called it a day long ago.

Thanks everyone for their responses, I'll take it all on board and see if your guys advice helps.
Specifically answering that quote nova, I just used my normal AW profile name seeing I refuse to save any details physically so it's fewer nicknames to remember. It's been around two years since I actually lived in stoke, more east midland based these days with the odd visit to Stoke/Birmingham.
The scene in stoke is pretty dire in all honesty, you can get a decent EE girl there once in a while, but I personally prefer british girls. That being said some EE girls can be much better, you take the good with the rough I suppose.
The East Midlands by comparison is much better seeing Nott'm, Leic, Derby & Lough are all fairly close together. Only downside is numbers of younger escorts (18-25) has been going down quite fast recently imo
HG I'm pretty sure you will find small localised forums in those areas, they won't be as elaborate or busy as the national sites but it's all local knowledge and the same rules apply about who's advice you take/ignore, those members who contribute regularly to the regional boards on the big sites may also be involved in these smaller set-ups as well.
