I'll agree with that....AW has changed my life (for the better) too!
Nine years down the line and I can say this much, being with them and exclusive to them for so long must mean they do something right so chin up girls !

5 years and im also happy for the most part. There's no excuse for a bad attitude towards models however. Acknowledging the technical glitches in the system and taking on at least some responsibility for advertising are the least a webcam site should be doing.

Long time regular customers reporting not being able to get into a room, not connecting immediately, or being booted after a few seconds. Not being able to join group shows or having no private option available. Not being able to see a profile as available at all. Some profiles being unable to be viewed on mobile devices. Phone chats not connecting.

^ All these are ongoing issues and some (direct chat) have been happening for years. For AW to say they do not exist or they havent heard others report them is not true. I myself and many of my customers have sent screenshots of loading pages and rrcordings of direct chat saying service provider unavailable. So they are very much aware.

Perhaps if you are used to not being busy on cam, and dont use all the other features on AW like phone, gallery, sales, erotica etc you wont have noticed many changes. Lucky you!

But for the rest of us who have seen the effects of these system issues and hsve lost business because of it (you're a customer faced with all this crap plus VAT plus having to give ID, what eould YOU do??!) We are quite understandably annoyed at the arrogant and patronising attitude shown here.

Why not acknowledge the issues, and work WITH models to make the site as good as it could be? Sweeping them under the carpet saying it's all on the models is counterproductive.

I don't wish to make this an essay about everything wrong with AW, any issues ive experienced that i cannot improve myself through improved equipment, settings, marketing etc I go straight to AW with full details. I dont moan and complain, I try to fix it. AW is my number 1 site, and the customers there have been very good to me. I dont expect advertising on the scale of a company like streamate who have MILLIONS dedicated just to marketing (hence the low payout).

This is however a response to what I see as an unjust attitude towards valid questions, and a patronising attitude to models in general. Just imagine how much could be achieved if AW actually acknowledged models as business partners. I for one would like to work more closely with them instead of feeling like on any given day their system may make my business so much harder.

Id like to point out too that I still earn the same as I used to, and I still have nearly all the same regulars. But I feel now as though im constantly fighting system bugs and rarely get new customers, especially if they're mobile viewers.
Have to add after reading all too. AW to me is the best platform I use it has also changed my life in the last 6 years too. There has been issues with the Directcam feed but not major it does do its glitches but as we have said alot of the time it is the amount the guys can be streaming while they expect to cam too and yes there are times where it fucks up but so do all systems at times and it get annoying when it does but overall to me it is the best out there for us UK cammers too. 

No when I log in not always do you get them flooding in especially when it near end of month no money but yes over the years you build up a client base and those do cum to you when you on but also have to go get them too to always find new so we do also have to feed ourself on the platform AW provide by which we all advertise ourselves naturally but always wouldbe nice if AW did there own too. Saying that they have been tweeting more over the last few weeks.

I agree that when things are wrong they need to accpet it more and also be more helpful when there are probs when you send into the helpdesk for the customers too as the generic replies at times can be fustrating for all and when they do things like the verification for the age things let all know email all the guys etc so they know why things are happening etc so better communciation all round makes people happier.

AW is stll the best for me and the good outways the bad so all keep cumming xx

I hope you realise that this isn't down to adultwork. 

If someone is on a mobile device and cant view you it is either because your bandwidth is too low or the customer doesn't have good enough internet.
If you don't have fibre optic this will be an issue some of the time. there is a girl I know from wales who has this issue.

I personally didn't find anything patronising or insulting at all. Yes adultwork aren't perfect: the VAT issue for one, I am very grateful for you sorting that you, but aside from that in the 5 years I have worked on here, I would like to add in the past 3 years I am online a far greater amount than yourself, I've never had any issues or glitches. Actually the only issue I have had is sometimes its just the free chat girls on the first page but thats usually sorts itself out after not very long.

I have fibre optic. The issues are down to the player not being able to properly handle mobile viewers, or yes, the customers themselves. Either way not our fault and not something we should have to deal with when we pay for a service!

This really does my head in at time , I hate when guys are like I love your moves , just watching one right now and you get f all for it  , I really think we should get at least something for it , or at least every seconds clip that someone views for free we get the money !

Hi, as a user, I can only view one video per profile with a freeview, the second one you have to pay for?
Adult work is the only site I work on and I've had a wonderful ten years so far ! I think the freeviews are a good idea as they reward the fellas for spending credits which in turn encourages more credit spending. What would be good is if adult work could introduce a rating for movie clips like erotica can be rated ? That way us providers can see which movie clips are most viewed , popular etc. I cant really fault adult work , yes the glitches are a pain at times but they have always been so prompt and helpful when I've encountered problems. Perhaps adult work having more advertising would be an excellent way forward for building more traffic . Country-gal

It depends on your point of view.

Freeviews are a marketing ploy to get clients to buy more credits, the more credits they have the more they have to spend, which they may spend on you. If you have several movies, should they have enjoyed watching one of your movies they may now spend some of those credits they purchased with you or if you offer Webcam they may book to go live with you.

However, I do feel that as it is your content you should have to opt in to offer freeview, have the chance to opt out or as AW make money on the credits should offer you a small payment for allowing a freeview.
