Hi all,
I've only been on adultwork a few days offering escort services. I used to have a successful profile on there 2 years ago with 53 positive feedbacks.
I left when I Started a new relationship with someone who has been a valuable lesson learned for me.
He will not leave me alone and has done everything possible to make my life difficult.
I have had the police involved numerous times because of his persistent harassment to no effect. I have blocked his phone number but I can still read texts under the blocked numbers list.
I knew it wouldn't take him long to discover my profile on aw although I tried to be as discreet as possible with no face photos ect.
He's now found my profile.

When I first created the profile Straightaway I was sent a email from aw asking me to verify with a verification photo and documents or my profile would be deleted in 24hours!
I am aware of numerous fake profiles on the website and I know aw are taking steps to reduce these numbers.

Just to clarify My nationality is white/ British so thinking maybe this was a new mandatory rule now for escorts (although I found nothing in the help centre suggesting this) I reluctantly did what they asked of me and uploaded documents and a verification photo making sure to tick the box "hide verification photo from my profile". 48 hours passed and I still wasn't verified so I sent a reminder email to them then logged off. I didn't log on for approx 4 hours and during this time I received emails and threatening text messages from my ex laughing and telling me he is going to destroy my life beyond repair saying he has seen my profile & taken screen shots and is now sending them to my friends & family.

I ignored him thinking I was ok as my face wasn't showing on the site.
I logged back onto aw to reply to emails and to my horror my verification was now approved and my photo was now live on the website showing my face to the public.
This picture had been publicly showing for around 4 hours! I couldn't believe this as I ticked the box to hide my photo from the public when I uploaded it!
I have wrote a email to aw trying to get an explanation for this only to be sent links to the help centre to get answers.

My ex now has screen shots of my verification photo holding a piece of paper with my profile I.D ect.
Today I have logged on after seeing emails saying someone had left me feedback.. My ex has left insulting abusive feedback 3 times on my profile along with my real name.
I have the police coming out to see me tomorrow morning and I know I may have to tell them the truth about my aw profile if I'm to get him charged with anything.
My ex seems to think his behaviour is justifiable as I left him "to become a prostitute" as he often tells me.

I have hidden my profile for now to seeking services and contacted aw again asking them to remove this defamatory feedback he has wrote but I'm not sure if they can?
I enjoy being a escort and would like to just work in peace without any issues but this is proving really difficult and I am missing opportunitys to meet with people who want to book because of this idiot.

P.s
He even blocked a clients car near my driveway by parking in front of it so he was blocked against the wall and his car. It took 3 hours for the police to get him to move it. Police just issued him with an harassment warning.
Sorry for the long post..
Thanks R X
That is terrible and until this guy does not move on you will not get a rest. I can only wish you all the best. Also check other Forums where girls describe similar situations and how they dealt with them.
You have my sympathy what an awful situation, AW will certainly remove the feedback I don't think you'll have any problem with that, as far as I'm aware you don't have to verify profiles but AW are putting pressure on advertisers to do so. Now if your ex has actually stated he intends to out you to those you know well that's blackmail and I think the Police can act more robustly over that, an actual charge or perhaps you can apply for a restraining order, do make sure you take screenshots of the feedback he left before it's deleted.
