I am hoping another performer or adultworker can help me out. I have been performing on webcam on AdultWork for a while, I have never offered any other services, have never escorted and have never sold anything nor had phone/sms chats. Depending on how much I work I make around £700-£1000 a week. I am now pregnant (7 months) Up until now I have been camming and have made a lot more due to my pregnancy being a fetish but my boyfriend has expressed his dislike to what I am doing whilst pregnant and out of respect for him I have decided to stop until after the baby is born as he has become really uncomfortable with the idea.
I haven't cammed for around 2 weeks now and the loss of income has really amounted. To him its not a loss of income as his income pays rent/bills etc but my income contributed towards that and paid for my luxuries.
Is there a potential to make the same or similar amount without webcamming/escorting. Eg if I sold A LOT on the market place and sms/phone chats. I have never used these ways of making money so I am not sure if many people buy and use these services.

I'm not sure if this is of any interest to you but why don't you do DirectIM chat? Not sure if you have tried it already but atleast your customers can still talk to you without upsetting your boyfriend by being on cam. From one customer this morning I have made credits which are pretty good on DirectIM (thats not including the rest I have spoken too) and im not even an established webcam girl like you probably are. But atleast its still an extra few £££'s you could earn. I haven't tried to sell anything yet so I can't give you my experience on that (Hopefully someone will shortly) but definitely recommend IM. I just leave it open in the background whilst im watching tv etc.

Yes thats exactly it. Where you edit your webcam settings (set your prices etc) Just tick the box that says "I wish to provide typed text-chat only, (called DirectIM), with no video sent from my PC or shown to clients" Make sure you don't set your prices too high and log on to justcamit like you normally would to cam. The box on justcamit that usually shows your webcam image should have red text written in it saying "chat only"
As I said I made quite a good few credits this morning...I was talking to one person for an hour and a half so its pretty handy

You won't make nearly as much through selling things, I'm assuming you mean things like panties and pictures? You won't make a living from that.
Direct chat is phone chat, they will call your phone and chat to you. The traffic can be very variable, some days I will have 20 calls, and other days I will have 0.
Direct IM is pretty much the same.
You wont make the same amount you have been making on cam, but you should make something at least from phone and IM.
Thanks for everyone's advice, can't offer direct chat atm as have a cold so sound kind of like a guy lol but hopefully once this passes. I have started offering Direct IM but haven't signed on to it yet but hoping it holds some potential. Have just sold a custom order for 30 credits so not doing too badly, also uploading content (pictures and video's) not sure how much I will make from them but everything counts
Have you thought of doing cam but not doing any nudity ?! You could revamp your profile and become a mistress till the baby is born ? Would you bf be ok with that ? Or does he just want you off cam completely ?

I wouldn't personally stop webcamming for a boyfriend, but of course you don't want him to leave! but he should understand with both incomes you will be able to afford things that you wont struggle on when the baby is born. You could make a living from making boy/girl videos with your partner that is another source of income a lot of girls and couples make just by doing videos alone.
Or sell stuff on your Adultwork profile like clothes and lingerie, or ebay!
I never make a dime on direct IM, I can see some girls make money only via this service as men obviously do use the IM service , when I log on its dead and I give up and go on directcam, wow 700 -1000 a week seriously ? Wow that's alot of income I aim for a fraction of that xxxx

Good luck anyway doll try out IM but I've never had success with it, I must be going wrong on Tis service somewhere because directcam can be tiring sometimes , to make money just type chat would be bliss
