I'm trying to post this on AW women as it's their opinion I'm wondering about. I am a male client
Here goes:
Ok, I'm an older guy. But to me, a fully shaven bush is just so wrong. It makes the woman look girl/child-like (am I the only one to think that), and also lays it all out there to see in a rather gynaecological way. I love pussies, love seeing, love tasting....
But I'm very happy to see the vagina in its natural setting of pubic hair. Pubic hair is what sets the adult apart from the child. Trim if u wish, make a landing strip, but please, I'm quite prepared to take the risk of a pubic hair or two in oral sex. Are people thinking hair on a woman equates with maleness somehow? Or maybe they equate it in some way with a lack of cleanliness (in this over concerned society about germ-free environment - I'm not meaning sexual health)

Women never used to shave under the arms, but now almost all women do. It's become the norm now. When I was a young emerging male a few decades ago, it was natural and accepted. It didn't bother me at all. It was part of the natural female. Now shaven armpits are the norm. But not please that sacred triangle in which lies the beautiful female genitalia. Keep it framed decoratively by your pubes please, some of you.

men are now following women too. No-one is profiting except the personal grooming industry.

That's enough of a rant. I hope some women out there feel the same as me. I'd be very interested in how women on AW take a view on this. Do u feel the need to cater to an assumed male majority need for a complete shave?

Ps, see http://www.webburgr.com/400-vaginas-wall/
For a beautiful piece of art on the vagina.
Nice post Kerrera169 Smile
Many years, nay decades ago, my then husband asked me to shave my pubic hair off, which I dutifully did. I was in my late teens early twenties at the time and YES! I did worry at first that he was trying to keep me pre teen down there, this also lead to me worrying that he may be verging on being a peadophile! Of course I wasn't impressed and let it grow back fully straight away. He didn't turn out to be a peadophile or wanting to keep me pre-teen, it was just the way my young, niaeve mind worked back then. Like most, over the ensuing years I have learnt much, indeed working within the Adult Entertainment industry I have been truly enlightened!
Virtually as soon as I started as a cam model I 'had' to shave, completely. Now this time round I enlisted the assistance of my now bf, (divorced hubby, not due to shaving incident though), I have to say it was a pretty erotic experience! We both enjoyed it so much that I returned the favour, carefully of course Wink. I felt liberated, I felt clean, I felt fresh, I felt soft, I felt smooth, I felt sexy! And so I continued to keep myself clean shaven for the last few years.
Recentley I got lazy, maybe age is catching up with me? It can be such a palaver especially as I shave underarms and legs too, adds at least 20 mins to a 5 min shower, (I only ever wet shave, so much smoother), so I have allowed my bush to regrow. I really don't know which I prefer. Shaven = fresh, clean smooth, but can cause shaving rash, stubble rash,(for guys), embarrasing itching with regrowth etc. Hairy = natural winter warmer, (why do you think it's sometimes referred to as a muff?), can get more sweaty in tights/summer, needs extra care/attention regarding hygene/wiping and of course the risk of pubes stuck between teeth.
Now where did I put my razor?

Ladies, something your mother never tells you, your pubes go grey too! I was shocked when I found my first grey pube!

I agree. Fully shaven looks like a plucked chicken, yuck! Mine is brazillian/ trimmed x
More comments please
I think it was a mixture of the porn industry and skimpy swimwear that made trimming and then full Brazilians almost de rigeur, but after experimenting once with shaving as a teenager - never again! This winter I'm even experimenting with not shaving under my arms.
I am nearly 63, and have never shaved down there. I do trim though, just to keep it tidy, lol. I have not found a grey hair yet though. I am surprised at how many men prefer the more 'natural' look. Don't get many at all who say they prefer shaved. I only shave under my arms every few weeks, often forget, but am so fair there it doesn't really show, lol.
I had a brazilian for years as I just love the feeling of it, but since I started camming the feedback I got from guys was there are far too many bald/landing strips around, so I have let it grow to a full on bushy mess!
I have a wax as a treat for me & my man whenever we go on hols but the rest of the time I just leave it au naturel.
I shave completely, but I do that for me, as for some reason, having any hair down there makes me feel dirty. When doing PE at school when I was young, the other girls used to tease me for having hair down there so that may be an indirect reason
So what's made u feel dirty? The pressure from others?
Hair has a natural function, it's there for a reason (biologically speaking) depending on its location, e.g.

This is not the definitive answer, but it says something about it.
Please, don't concede what we (women and men) naturally are to what the profit-led cosmetic/fashion/media industry would have u believe is the norm.
A little bit of sweat is ok, hair is ok, not using loads of makeup is ok.

Ok, I'm getting carried away, so I'll leave it at that.l
Even if it is ok, anyone who is different gets picked on. School was a horrendous time for me. I still have a lot of issues with self esteem due to being bullied and I guess this is one of them. I know that hair has a function, and I don't particularly enjoy shaving. It just makes me feel dirty when I don't. x
