I think musics just as much influenced from where you come from. Two other Icelandic bands I like I feel really make you imagine Iceland as a place.
Sigur Ros being a bit more known, they do sing in Icelandic and this is the song I have tattooed on my arm (just the title lol)
Another less know Icelandic band that sing in English is Leaves, lovely band
A really old american band called, well America- The Last Unicorn (comes from a film also of the same name) brings back lovely feelings of wonderful toddler childhood memories
