The words people use that signal whether they are more likely to like rough or gentle sex, data based on dating profile text.
hmmm that one i dont agree with
it's stereo typing which is very wrong, as people can be very different in the bedroom.

Data from dating profile text only :-)

I am always very wary of profiling. An American company I used to work for was drafted in to put some of us through psychometric testing and I turned out out to be entirely unsuitable for my role ! Biggest load of nonsense I had heard in years, but HR lapped that sort of stuff up !

I personally it's quite interesting... These words are taken from a sample of over 60,000... Now of course this is not always going to be very factual or correct for everyone but it does show trends.

A friend of mine has analysed OkCupid's software - it was a large part of his post-grad thesis - and apparently their statistics software is very, very good.

@Jeansman - it totally depends on which test they were using. I have a day job (shock, horror!) - I analyse the results psychometric tests used by HR for an Aussie mining company. I've done this test myself four or five times now... I always get the same results and the description is very accurate!!

It's not always the tests that fail, it's the way their results are applied. So, in your case I would place more blame on the HR consultants than the test. This is why the mining company employs psychologists to analyse the results!

Anyway sorry for the rant I just found this interesting!!
Want to know how to tell if your other half / fuck buddy / your client / escort / anyone likes rough sex?

ASK THEM. Simple as that. If you aren't capable of having a grown up conversation then you probably aren't of sound enough mind to be fucking in the first place.

Just my take on such things.
I agree... I just think the stats are interesting. I am an undergrad statistics nerd who likes rough and gentle sex!! Smile
Good answer lol Big Grin
