Well it seems my Title is right cause I'm on streamate and there sounds have been well dodgy lately! Yes so many problems in different places makes me look closer to home but my laptops brand new and kicks ass Confused
Create a Gmail email address and then install Google talk - you'll get a notifcation on your desktop when you get an email, so when someone makes a booking or sends you a message you'll be instantly notified. <3

This is great, thanks. Only problem is, I can't seem to have a SOUND alert enabled (when I receive an email). I have Google Chrome. Any suggestions? (or does it not have the sound alert facility?). Huh
I find that gmail is really slow to show the emails too...the text to my work phone is my main alert.

Same here Katy, I rely on my phone for (free) alerts on webcam/fone chat bookings but I don't get alerts when I get an email (as there is a charge for that) - I find some times folk email you with a specific request and if the AW notifier doesnt alert/notify me then its a bit of a nuisance as sometimes a lot of time can lapse between them sending the email and me seeing it & I've lost a potential booking due to not seeing/answering it in time (so I have to remember to keep checking my emails esp if AW notifier is being temperamental, which, more often than not, it is usually is) - however I've now downloaded Google talk & have that as well as AW Notifier... hopefully this belt & braces approach will do the trick! i.e., I won't miss any email alerts. (also there doesnt seem to be the option of having a sound alert in Google talk, which is a shame).
