So... after a number of recent threads along this kind of theme, I was just wondering what girls do when they get some such "offer" from a "photographer" on AW?

Especially when the message is clearly a cut'n'paste job?

Up until now I have, depending upon how bored I am and how mischievous I feel, either deleted or else replied along the lines of "Yea, great idea! I know a fantastic studio we can use and an excellent photographer who can shoot us getting it on together! I also know a really good hair and make-up girl who will make us look fantastic! Shouldn't come to more than about £500 for a couple of hours worth of shooting 'n' 'shopping I shouldn't think, so we can share the cost of that - what an excellent idea!".... just before pressing "BLOCK SENDER".

But there seem to be so many of these flying about at the moment which are clearly just cut'n'paste jobs that I am thinking that I might start using the "REPORT SPAM" button instead.

It's not that I resent guys trying to make a few quid... it's just that I don't want to be over-run with this kind of spam... cos that's what it is... so I want to discourage it. After all, as service providers, we are not allowed to indiscriminately mail potential clients on AW, so I'm not sure why that same rule shouldn't work the other way round too.

Don't get me wrong... nothing wrong with a guy legitimately trying to find his way into the industry and make some money out of it by putting up a profile and promoting it with all the tools AW makes available for all of us to utilise... but spam mail is not one of those tools and I don't think we should tolerate it.

Am I being cruel hearted?

Report abuse and block. It's at best spam, and at worst dangerous.

If only one, I will find myself doing, hip dip dog SH*T you are not it.
As you can determine I have done a couple of the above responses. loll

As many as you like! Cool
As a punter who has dabbled in photography, if I met an escort who didn't have good pics, I'd be happy to shoot some for free (if I could find a tactful way of saying "sorry, but I think your pics are awful..."). After all, photographers normally pay for the services of a glamour model. Getting to keep copies of the pics should be sufficient reward (and, no, I wouldn't be expecting a free shag).

I'm sure there are plenty of others who would do the same... so why pay?

For the use of full studio facilities, yes. But I've seen escorts use holiday snaps, and self-taken shots using a mirror. They could get better shots than that without paying a pro.
Yeah, the photographer usually pays the model if he's retaining full copyright. If the model wants full copyright then she pays for his time and expertise (and in both cases they should be signing the relevant paperwork which states the terms of the transaction) otherwise those pictures could end up anywhere.

I don't think any of the ladies here would like to hand that type of control over to a complete random, only to end up in a 'stock images' website and have their face forever resold to newbie webcam/phone SPs who are playing to a persona.
At the end of the day, a lot of these guys fail to realise (or even contemplate) the reality is that if a girl wants her pictures taken quickly, she'll probably just get her OH to do it...

A lot of people may not advertise the fact they are in a relationship, but c'mon boys, are you really that daft? (Yes? Definitely maybe?)

No they're not daft.. most probably aren't just simply looking to take pics of hot girls, if only that were the case! No, they are more likely wanting to put them in their own aw galleries to profit from, having realised the chances of them making money on their own are almost nil. They could also be planning to sell them on for a huge profit to a website or magazine. Or, they could be looking to lure in girls for far more dangerous reasons!
I just ignore them, must get them daily.

The ones I really laugh is the "professional photographers". Most of the time there pics on there profiles are shit or at most no better than what I can do in house Rolleyes

Plus guys think making content as free sex

I don't think they really are prepared to actually make content ie right in the middle of "the moment" you say "stop that's a crap position, let's change". Do they realise that's what it's like? Rolleyes
