is it possible to remove this feature

it seems to be causing a little angst, which could only escalate as the forum grows bigger, maybe differences could be settled by pm instead of on any the forums

the forum is starting to grow steadily, more people are joining in, would hate to see if there were any animosity people being scared to post

its maybe not right for this type of industry
Hi lolo,

The ability to leave negative reputation has now been disabled to avoid any abuse of the system.

Members can now only receive a positive reputation for contributions to the forum.

I hope this will alleviate any concerns.
thanks admin

Its sad to see a forum have to change a few of its characteristics, just because some prats want to make idiots of themself's, but what ever you do Admin, its been a useful tool at the beginning.

Sadly some folk will try to abuse the system no matter what is in place.
Is there an option to unsubscribe to getting those reps any where please.
I would like to opt out of that as I am not comfortable with that side of things on a forum.
I would rather say so on a thread if I think some ones comments are worthy or by private e-mail.
Many thanks.
Lucy.
I do like to be able to 'thank' people if they write something I enjoy. I've had negative on other forums and positive and it doesn't really bother me that much and usually it does lead to a proper conversation and resolution of any ill feeling, but it doesn't bother me if I can leave neg or not.

It would be a bit of a shame if it got too much like the sports day where no one can lose though. I'm not sure I agree with the 'everyone is a winner' mentality.
Are these reputations for Escort services only?
no its for anyone bettina

just if u like someones post u can give them a reputation for it
It would be better if it was a 'thanks' option rath than reputation. On other forums there was a thanks button so people could see how many times you thanked someone and you would get thanks for your points too. Does that make sense?
alot of forums use diff things thanks / karma / kudos / reps
