I dont think either really is going to distract what charms the lady has to offer, its a female thing to have a lot of footwear, I think a pair of mucky doc Martins untied, would be just a turn on as some pricey pair of heels.

I remember once seeing a lady in a parlour, and there was a woman decorater doing the hallway, she was a real turn on with her mucky overalls and work boots, she commented about the woman making too much noise in the room, I was very embaresed to have been told by the receptionist that the decorator was the ladies mother....blush

I actually have a pair of Docs in my vast collection but mine are not mucky they are nice and shinny
