Text/Email scams on Adultwork
#1
Exclamation
Hi, there is alot of scam emails and text messages going around supposedly from Adultwork. They may even say they are genuinely from Adultwork but they arent, they are scammers trying to get your details. Do not reply to them at all, dont send them anything, just delete the message.

Below is an example text message:

If you get one of these and you are really unsure if it is real feel free to email either Adultwork via the help centre or if you are a Dailypay member admin@dailypayservice.com / Skype "dailypayservice".

Never give out your password or username to anyone. Always be wary.

If you believe you have been scammed please fill this out immediately http://www.adultwork.com/FF.asp?FFID=83

For anything......

And always beware on clicking on links and if you do, always check the web address that you land on before entering any information

It's a scam. The real AW will never ask for a password. Trash/bin/junk/whatever it.

I have also received several texts recently which appear to be scams.

One from the mobile number +44238589675

. The message says:
UPDATE YOUR PROFILE Send to:
adultworkmember@mail.com
-Nick Name
-Password
-Date of Birth
ATTENTION!! OTHERWISE YOUR PROFILE WILL BE CLOSED IN 24 HOUR.

And another from mobile number.
+447448939876

"you have a new booking on ...for 1 hour. Please confirm with your ADULTWORK profile at http://bit.do/adultworkbooking"

This links to a website which looks exactly like the AW app, so very convincing.

I've had loads of these, but I immediately noticed several spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in the message. Opening the email would send anyone into a panic though, and speed reading through fear could make anyone miss details like that.
Like Wilma Flintstone, I'll make your bedrock.

Fresh batch of text messages doing the rounds this morning;
"Verification update processes"

now using "adultworkmember@mail.com" (note they dropped the email.com address)

If AW wish to contact you it will be only via your email account you set your profile too.
