i dont know much about it but my young nephew had his account hacked with someone posting things about him

now we have managed to change the password & hide everything

he doesnt want to lose facebook so is it best he sets up a new profile incase the other gets hacked again & should he delete the one he has now

no a change of password should stop any further problems. i get warning up saying someone has tried to access my account from an unusual place (such as usa) and a recommendation to change my password.... i'd say its likely friends or something if no warning came up.

Remind him to choose a password which is impossible to guess, and to log out of mobile facebook on his phone/ shared computers....

A change of Password may not be enough. PIf he has actually been hacked, rather than just having a virus (not a Gum Clinic one!!! lol) then he should:
Download RKill & also install & scan with Malwarebytes
Whether or not you've got a problem then I would recommend you do it anyway...

A friend of ours (a single girl on AW, who joins us for bookings on occassion) had her AW Profile copied by someone she knew, who found out she was an Escort, and this malicious f&%kwit posted it onto Facebook, with links to everyone she knew, including family!!!
Needless to say she had to immediately delete her AW Profile and has had to start from scratch again Sad

Oh god, how awful. Did she not think how bad it would make the people feel who found out? Nevermind the girl who's life she was trying to ruin.

It turns out it was a guy who didn't like it because she would not date him!! Proves what a total arsehole he was to start with. Fortunately she minimised the damage by deleting her AW profile straightaway. Her parents never saw it and don;t live locally, but several of her friends viewed it - So she now 'known' for her living to everyone locally. Not how she wanted it, but fortunately it seems her friends have been supportive ;-)

So it was pure revenge. Some people have no consideration, compassion or intelligence. If her friends found out about it, surely they would snub him and warn off any girls who might have been interested in him in the future, because he is an unfeeling, potentially dangerous arsehole.

We have never had the misfortune of meeting this character; shall we just say that it's great that our friend minimised the damage and seems to have come out smellsing of roses - He's not the most popular chap in Swindon town right now ;-) x

Did you get your Nephew's problem sorted in the end lolo? x
