Scary Experience with escort
#1
So today I had my second ever punt from AW. First was about a year ago and was a good experience. Today was completely the opposite.

Arranged to meet this girl. http://www.adultwork.com/ViewProfile.asp?UserID=1737268

She texted me and we arranged to meet at 9pm. Talked over the phone and she told me her address. She sounded nice and friendly, very encouraging. I arrived at her street at 9pm. She said she wasn't ready and to wait another 10 minutes which I did. I was then directed to her flat. She looked nice enough and we entered her bedroom. Dealt with the money side and then she told me to have a seat and she would get me a drink and her. She got me some water and then popped to make a tea.

5 minutes later I heard a man entering the property. He then started calling for her. When she wasn't answering he wondered into the bedroom. She had disappeared out of the house. Then another man (her brother supposedly) came in and they started asking how I knew her, where she was etc. She'd handily left her mobile phone on the table in the other room.

I had a hammer pulled on me and was told in not so polite terms to leave. I decided that would probably be for the best.

Not a great experience at all, and she really did seem nice. Was unexpected.

Go to the police.

You must... you don't have a choice.

This is a growing problem and these people depend on the fact that guys won't go to the police because of the nature of the meeting... but you have to remember that you have not committed any offence... prostitution is not illegal in this country, and neither is paying for sex.

Don't let them get away with it or they will do it to someone else.

Most likely the reason they were able to do this to you is because the last peson they did it to was too scared to go to the police.

I was ready to call the police if it got out of hand. I have no idea how the law stands on this though. Would love to get the police involved as long as there's no recourse against me.

Do you think it could've been a set up ? She has no feedback. That sounds scarey. Sorry you had such a bad experience.

It was definitely a set up. There's no other way that could have gone down. She left the room and vanished, and 2 men come in. Quite heavyset guys. They seemed to just want me out rather than start anything from their attitudes.

There is no reason why there should be any action against you.

The very worst that can happen is that they will ask you to give evidence. If you are married then you might (understandably) be reticent. But so long as you remain silent, they will do this to someone else, and the next victim might not get away with just losing a few quid... it could, as I am sure you are now only too keenly aware, have got very "out of hand" very easily.

You MUST go to the police.

Sorry honey... I know it's a difficult thing to do, but your silence endangers other guys.

Going to the police is one thing but what will actuall happen? It is purely his word against theirs, it may help in the long run to build a case against the people, if enough others come forward, but at what cost to his own relationship if he is married?

...Well, she's hidden her feedback. Hardly surprising.

Whatever you decide to do... do it quickly. You know where she lives... or, ratber, you know where she was renting at the time. She has probably moved on already, and she probably paid her landlord in cash, but criminals can make mistakes. It's possible that she hasn't yet reovered her rental deposit: maybe you can stop her getting that back.

Maybe type up wbat happened on an A4 sheet, print a hundred copies, post them through the letterboxes of local residents and leave some in local pubs. DON'T give your contact details (though giving HER contact details would be a nice touch). Your objective should be to stir up trouble between her and her landlord (who might then take it to the police himself).

An afterthought... do you still have her mobile number? If so, give it to the police (if you're going to involve the police), and also post it here. Don't worry about the Data Protection Act or anything like that: there is a specific exemption for "the prevention and detection of crime".
