I've seen that before think it was about 4 years ago and then somewhere I read that it has all be dropped or something.
Looking at it, it says petiton closed in the top right corner.

If you look at the top right hand side of the petition, it says that the petition is now closed. There are only 56 signatures and quite a few are from people telling the instigator of it to get a life. I certainly would not worry about it. The site is registered on an off shore island, so it is pretty safe from being closed down.

Whether the women want to admit it or not, it is degrading to them and promotes the culture that men have an entitlement to sex merely because they can pay for it no matter what the cost to the women involved...
Oh my I feel SO DEGRADED!! I hate this opinion of escorts... I find it empowering that men pay me for sex... What's sad and degrading is teenage girls giving it to fuckwit perverts for free and pretending they are enjoying themselves...

People can write as many petitions as they like. It is an offshore registered company. That is light creating a petition to close play.com. It is a foreign business, and the owners aren't bound by UK law, nor I think would they give two hoots what a bunch of loonies think either.
