AW new live presenter application

Anyone seen this yet. I got the newsletter this morning and saw the advert for it. They have used the gorgeous Kinkydirtybitch to demo the technology.

Too expensive for me, will wait till they bring the price down.
BTW they say that the girls signing up for this are getting around £300 extra earnings, don't know how they can prove that as there is no one using it yet except for KDB as far as I can see.

I thought about this and its just like a into movie to be fair u have to play the button and i think some of the punters be fed up with it.
And it gets in the way of readin info on profile.

But fair play if people want it on theres each to there own.

There is a whole thread (or 2 ) devoted to it, KDB talked everyone through the process, and she said it made a marked difference to her AW income

I had it on my website index page, hubby did it for me. Video yourself in front of well lit green screen, import into Powerdirector or some other eding software, use a backdrop the same colour as the background on your site and use chroma key to replace the green. Make a SWF file and place it on the page, and hey presto. The problem is that it slowed the loading of the page down by a couple of seconds and that is too long for the attention span of the typical male, lol

I think for a lot of people it is not an option due to losing discretion. I don't think anyone wants to look at a moving headless body do they?

And lets not forget, a lot of us run pop up blockers and scripts to stop these annoying things from nicking our bandwidth in the first place. So may need to disable or allow access.

Although I think KDB pulls it off brilliantly, naturally, I don't think it's something I could pull off... I also worry for the money it's just a bit gimicky and that the money could be used better.

I think there are a lot of pro's and con's to this. As a techie it appeals to me, and I think for a number of high profile girls it would work well. As Kate and Jem say though, for the more discreet it's not necessarily an option to invest in.

In a sense I suppose it could also be misinterpreted as a "hard sell" if done in the wrong way, a bit like a cyber equivalent of the Amsterdam Red Light District.

I read KDB thread on this with interest. And also had a peek at hers, which looks fab. Not for me either, but can see it would generate interest and extra revenue.
