I am pretty hurt and confused right now and thought this could be a place to get some advice. Yesterday I found out my girlfriend, who I have been with for 6 months and am very much in love with, is an escort. She is my first relationship and I was already planning on marrying her when I finish my studies and setting up life together. I have been suspicious for a while. She always seems to have lots of cash on her, is aggressively protective of her phone and is always busy at nights, sometimes calling off our plans suddenly with an excuse that she is not feeling good etc. I put two and two together and did some searching and I found her profile on adultwork.
I haven't even contacted her yet, I have some unread messages from her but can't bare to even look at her picture. I feel destroyed. As well as feeling disappointed and betrayed, I worry for her and feel very protective. I just picture this kind of work as being very objectifying.
