Can anyone please explain what this option is? What happens at a sauna? What is a Bath house? I've been on AW for 8 years and still don't have a clue

It would be best OP if you could give us some context, Bath House and Sauna covers a multitude of sin. It could be a place where Gay men meet for casual sex, you pay an entrance fee use the facilities and what you get up to apart from that is no concern of the Management. Altenatively it may just be a brothel, there is a place near to where I grew up and it must have been there for at least 40 years, it advertises as a Sauna and apparently it really does have a Sauna and Plunge pool which you can pay to use but there are also three or four women who offer massage although I doubt any of them are qualified, while you have the massage you'll be asked if you want anything else....extras.....sex.

I'm guessing if the OP has been scouting profiles which have sauna and bath house tagged in them then he's already been spying some ding-a-lings. Saunas are notorious cruising locations, as are bath houses - though this is a more old fashioned term for pretty much the same thing. A few seconds of googling would have given him a better idea of what these places are, and they're 99.99 percent frequented by men looking for men and men looking for business.

Thanks for the replies. I'm just a straight punter. Have seen this option ticked on female escorts' likes lists and wondered what it was about (all I could picture was men and women sitting around sweating in towels). I remember when I lived in Brum that the Victorian public sauna in Smethwick had mixed sauna one night a week and wondered if nudity or anything sexual went on. Anyway, you've given me a much better idea of what they're about and probably saved me some embarrassment. I'll steer clear.

I would't go to one if I was you. You are most likely get ripped off from service fee, pimp comission fee, walk-in fee (you name it)
