January is going to fucking kill me.
I know everyone has quiet/busy times, it's the way it works - but fuck! I've updated all my social networking endlessly, new movies, new blogs, new private pictures and working on new erotica for the site, featuring my profile, maintaining contact with my regulars - and I've had nothing all month. Even when we're working our asses off sometimes we can't get a break, and it's exhausting this month! Agh!

Gotta say January has actually been pretty non stop for me, one thing after having a very quick glance at your profile it might help to put a few more pictures in your private gallery (think there was 5 in there when I looked)
If you do find it is a little quiet its the perfect time to focusing your energy on making some new content - helps bring new custom in

Thanks, ladies, I've been focusing on making more content over the past few days so I'll get some more up there.
Katie, what do you think they should be at? I had everything at 2 per minute but dropped it a little to see if it would help.

That is harsh.... When people moan about it being slow you often find that they are doing very little to promote themselves, it is down heartening when you are doing everything you can

I think everybody should work at the rate they feel happy with and if Annabelle is busy then that is good. Personally I think Katie is right and an increase in rates may bring in more money for the same amount of work. But always stick with what you are happy with.

I've upped my rates, part of is panicked that no one will come in because they're /too/ high, but hopefully that will help! Break for a cup of tea whilst I work on some more erotica, then back online tonight! May the cam gods watch over you all!!

adultwork has always been hit and miss, I add new content when I can, usually every three to six months for me as I'm mainly for outdoor and voyeur content , takes time and patience planning, even when I have added new content is doesn't make me more busier.
Some days are frantic, others are quiet, it all depends on the men and whether they are about to spend their credits
I have been trying IM recently as I can tell a lot of women make a lot of credits this way, but I'm dead on here, perhaps its a waiting game....as men do seem to use this IM service, it would be give me a break from directcam , I love directcam but as you gals know all too well it can be tiring

Low rates make you look cheap and the vast majority of guys do not like that. There are many other camsites that are known for their cheap rates and there are 100's of free porn sites too. Guys come to AW specifically because they like a particular girl or girls there and they are happy to pay whatever price she charges otherwise they would be on one of those other sites.
