Credit card details hacked ? - Phil_Hants - 03-01-2015
Hi all,
I've had my debit card fraudulently used to buy access to a Cyprus-based porn site.
It's the same card I use to buy credits on AW.
I'm not saying it was hacked from AW but it seems a coincidence that both AW and the porn site are in Cyprus.
So thought I'd better check if anyone has had this or was my card details taken from somewhere else.

Have you contacted aw via there help desk hun ? Be sure to fill form in correctly and submit by clicking on the red writing at the bottom xxxx
You haven't given out your details to anyone ? Sounds silly me asking but you never know

Have you used the card on other websites?
I had a card I only ever used on the internet, and suffered several fraud attempts one was used to book a hotel in Watford, another time it was jewellry in the USA - it really isn't uncommon.

Thanks for the replies, CG, SB. No, definitely not given the details out to anyone! But yeah, the card gets used on a lot of different (non-sex) sites and on wifi in hotels a lot so I s'pose someone 'sniffed' the details off the wifi. Good to know it wasn't AW but thought I'd better check.

Yes no reason for it to be specifically AW. I'd say it was probably another site, don't suppose you use the card for paypal?
