Just found out Mary Portas (Queen of Shops) is a lesbian. They showed her wedding on her new programme. It would never have occurred to me.

It doesn't suprise me though. She is a lovely woman and one that I really admire, but she (for me) does not ooze sex appeal in a feminine way. She kind of walks with purpose if you get my meaning. I can't imagine her wiggling her hips or doing something cute? Not that lesbians can't or don't do those things, but I imagine her playing the more male, dominant role in a relationship.
Shame I missed that programme. I had meant to watch it.

She is brilliant. Straight talking and knows just how to turn an ailing fashion business around. Apparently can now sell her own ranges! Apparently Clarks have waitlists for her range of footwear. It's the first time in their history they've had waiting lists!

I did see the beginning but didnt stop for long. Not that into fashion programmes (and yes I am not a fashion icon!)
Didnt realise she was a Lesbian though. Mind you, I dont think most lesbians walk around with a sign saying that they are!!

I did like her show on the BBC where she revamped charity shops back in 2009, one of the best things on TV at the time. And yes I did know, it was all over the press at the time of that program, as she was in a heterosexual marriage previous to her new partner, much to the salivating hacks delight!
