definitely ignore. I've had clients that i didn't know worked in the same office as me!!
one gent got upset that i ignored him when i was on a shopping trip (i actually was miles away and didn't see him!!!)....
even in a situation where it could be normal to chat to a girl i'd still rather be left alone. You never know who i might have to try and explain the situation to.

I saw a client when I was doing 'proper' work at a hotel with a colleague. We'd just gone there for a coffee and to discuss a project. A client walked past and I didn't even think about it. I have him a little nod, and he gave me one. Luckily my colleague didn't see, but I could easily have explained it away.

I was coming out of my local gym after a session one day and saw a car pull up, a lovely looking girl got out, i couldn't get over her legs and high heels, i was reversing out and watching her walking to the door and nearly hit a parked car!! Later in the evening i was making a booking with a local escort and realised it was her! She was laughing when i told her about what had happened earlier in the day!
